What I have done is analytically analyzed everything I can, everything should have a personal response on how I feel and think about what’s going on within this 12 week process, such as if its working or not. The context that I do prefer to include is the parts that show progress within my personal journey through that metaphorical ‘pyramid’ as this is vital that I show considering it’s expect. The information has been filtered down to create the visuals of my FMP. The sketchbook is almost a diary, a reflection of progression of me learning, developing, considering and designing, it’s not a verbal diary as commonly thought of when that word is put forward, and it’s basically a visual construction of my best interests. The most important things are my person responses to each section, the development isn’t just to my person preferences I have gather other opinions and have be influenced by research into contemporary designs. They were found on numerous websites, but the best websites to keep track of are the ones that get updated really frequently such as Tumblr, this website has helped me significantly through my fine art and graphics work.
The most developing was involved with the progress towards the logo design its self, I initially though I would gather imagery that I felt was relevant within represent a gallery, but this idea was scrapped, as I thought I would think of something far more inventive and original if I clear my mind of any thought of other designs, so I wouldn’t have the temptation of being inspired by someone else’s work, even though I needed some reference from material , I wanted to avoid being heavily channeled within designing, so I proceeded to build a mind map, after the name formed for the artificial scenario, (gallery). The direction I have led this logo towards correlates with the title of the gallery, in which I feel I have produced something of a elegant and of an artist manor promoting it in the right context. I love the distorted half spherical design centered within the triangular structure, based on the illuminati symbol. There is a lot of analytical though behind this logo and this is why I feel that this is conclusive outcome to all my work.
The methods that I have included aren’t very diverse due to relevancy within the actually design, it does consist of a lot of computer generated production due to the professionalism that graphics need, e.g. clean crisp angles, sharp straight cuts and immaculate monotones and palette selection, even though you can use it for a much looser element I do like to use I to create that spotless approach, as seen within the computer designing included, but you can probably recognize the factor that I love to just hand render designs, I love the process that involves constructing an making an idea flourish.
The presentation of the FMP is heavily influenced by First hand research, I was disappointed that I didn’t did gather any photos of the arrangement as I was prohibited due to the galleries restrictions on collecting stills, but I did gather memorized visuals, seeing the galleries in person was enough to go forth to know how to adequately arrange the paintings for the show.
The things that I do feel that I could have done better is final outcome on the fine art factor, because of the ‘disproportion’ element wasn’t promoted how I thought it could be. At beginning of this task I had a different ideology on what the portraits could look like, but due to development and trial and error those two pieces they have dramatically changed, I have no real complaints on the outcomes, other that I feel that the research towards producing something so challenging should have been developed more within using more diverse research than playing it safe.
