What I have done is analytically analyzed everything I can, everything should have a personal response on how I feel and think about what’s going on within this 12 week process, such as if its working or not. The context that I do prefer to include is the parts that show progress within my personal journey through that metaphorical ‘pyramid’ as this is vital that I show considering it’s expect. The information has been filtered down to create the visuals of my FMP. The sketchbook is almost a diary, a reflection of progression of me learning, developing, considering and designing, it’s not a verbal diary as commonly thought of when that word is put forward, and it’s basically a visual construction of my best interests. The most important things are my person responses to each section, the development isn’t just to my person preferences I have gather other opinions and have be influenced by research into contemporary designs. They were found on numerous websites, but the best websites to keep track of are the ones that get updated really frequently such as Tumblr, this website has helped me significantly through my fine art and graphics work.
The most developing was involved with the progress towards the logo design its self, I initially though I would gather imagery that I felt was relevant within represent a gallery, but this idea was scrapped, as I thought I would think of something far more inventive and original if I clear my mind of any thought of other designs, so I wouldn’t have the temptation of being inspired by someone else’s work, even though I needed some reference from material , I wanted to avoid being heavily channeled within designing, so I proceeded to build a mind map, after the name formed for the artificial scenario, (gallery). The direction I have led this logo towards correlates with the title of the gallery, in which I feel I have produced something of a elegant and of an artist manor promoting it in the right context. I love the distorted half spherical design centered within the triangular structure, based on the illuminati symbol. There is a lot of analytical though behind this logo and this is why I feel that this is conclusive outcome to all my work.
The methods that I have included aren’t very diverse due to relevancy within the actually design, it does consist of a lot of computer generated production due to the professionalism that graphics need, e.g. clean crisp angles, sharp straight cuts and immaculate monotones and palette selection, even though you can use it for a much looser element I do like to use I to create that spotless approach, as seen within the computer designing included, but you can probably recognize the factor that I love to just hand render designs, I love the process that involves constructing an making an idea flourish.
The presentation of the FMP is heavily influenced by First hand research, I was disappointed that I didn’t did gather any photos of the arrangement as I was prohibited due to the galleries restrictions on collecting stills, but I did gather memorized visuals, seeing the galleries in person was enough to go forth to know how to adequately arrange the paintings for the show.
The things that I do feel that I could have done better is final outcome on the fine art factor, because of the ‘disproportion’ element wasn’t promoted how I thought it could be. At beginning of this task I had a different ideology on what the portraits could look like, but due to development and trial and error those two pieces they have dramatically changed, I have no real complaints on the outcomes, other that I feel that the research towards producing something so challenging should have been developed more within using more diverse research than playing it safe.

Shapes sybolic meaning.
Looking at the this will help me creat a motive on how adn why i am creating the logo i am it wont just be a constructon of pointless shapes it will have a direct motive and wiill portray that resembebles the name correctly. I have created a diagram so i know waht shapes are relevent to the type. so it doesnt seem out of place.
Here this includes a video tha ti have watched on the meaning of shapes on how they are structured and conveyed.

what i need to to do is concider the art of comunication tho the imagary i want to create somthing phycologicly is easily memorable, but visualy invigerating. I need ro recreate somthing that promotes the names in the correct fasion so i have created a diagram listing things that relate to the name so then i can grasp a concet on what it could look like.
i will create a series od sketches that will involve
i have also looked in this websiite that shows The Meaning Of Shapes and Developing Visual Grammar, this includes visual diagrams and notes that explain the pupose in depth so you can get a clear understanding on how only using monotone is effective.

Keep calm and carry on (propaganda)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_Calm_and_Carry_On
Keep Calm and Carry On was a propaganda poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the event of invasion. Seeing only limited distribution, it was little known. The poster was rediscovered in 2000 and has been re-issued by a number of private sector companies, and used as the decorative theme for a range of other products. There were only two known surviving examples of the poster outside government archives[1] until a collection of about 20 originals was brought in to the Antiques Roadshow in 2012 by the daughter of an ex-Royal Observer Corps member.[2][3]
I'm using this as a great example due to this term that has been continues withing fashion not this saying, 'keep calm and carry on' has be modernised. Basically this old concept has be taken and reformed to fit modern society.

Personal identity ideas
Here is a list of sites that include loads of information that has be quiet inspiration on how I should layout and colour out my posters
http://www.brandclay.com/blog/the-ultimate-list-of-graphic-designer-gift-ideas
http://d-lists.co.uk/
These are sites that has been very helpful it towards selecting colours for my work, I will show examples in the future along with some experimental work with my personal designs.
i would like to use such shades of red due to its meaning of 'power' 'passion' and devotion, or shades of purple resembling 'stability', creativity and mysery. along with some white to concider as ieill hve to create and speculate the choices of placement with the typography that will be included.

http://www.typographyserved.com/
http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/font/5178.PFM.pdf is is a information document on how to form the file type to be placed into word.
This has definatily inspired me to create my opn 'typeface' within the designing process, I am going to create some initial designs then scan them in and stilly contrast the font so it can be used in such program's as work.
Another concepts that I could take into mind is using rebus's to for a colection

Illuminati
The term 'illuminati' is a misnomer really. What people mean when they say Illuminati is the network of secret societies that run the world, Bilderburg, Bohemian Grove, Council on Foreign Relations, high level freemasonry, elite think tanks etc. These are real and do exert a lot of influence on the world today, despite going largely unreported by the mainstream press and media
The world is controlled by the Illuminati?
Here is a few examples of a deduction I over looked, is this theory correct? What I have done is created something in which other people can cast there own opinion upon.
I would have the link but by the time I do read this the forum will be ended
This information from herein is quoted from the forum, underneath I will paste the information that was given by other people, but I will filter out the ridiculous remarks.
'nothing to prove wrong, they do. and theres nothing you can do about it'
'We are illuminati.
We are worrying about our selfs without knowing who we really are.
We are crating an illusion that something is controlling us, we are the ones that control ourselves.
Stop watching TV and realise that you really are instead of assuming what the world is
We are illuminati
We are the '
'there is no such thing as illuminati
not saying there isn't anything like it. but the ACTUAL illuminati is an urban legend.'
'There is no illuminati. We're just controlled by rich multinational corporations who put money in the pockets of politicians to influence political decisions'
Views upon phycology is pretty diverse ideas on how the world is controlled, predominantly our species believe that our work is controlled by a superiour being, there was another discussion that came across and that was, this idea of there being a 'god' the reson why we cannot see him/ her is because he is in the 5th dimension so with our outstanding technology, him/her is untraceable.

Digital manipulation
Digitisl manipulate is something I want to take upon board into creating the images, I would lie to experiment with some photography before actually construction a painting this would then become so much easier when drawing it out as then it won't have to me visually constructed in my head then placed straight onto the canvas I can clearly reference from the image that I have created.
This would also be very helpful to also place my illustrations that I am going to draw and place them upon the skin of the model so hey look like tattoos.

Contempary Artists inspiration
Micheal Shantz
Jason Spencer
The two artist are illustrators and know for there weird imagination, they both construct concept art that usually goes onto merchandise such as t-shirts, Micheal shantz was commissioned to design for a clothing site known as drop dead. considering this one of my favorite style of clothing i looked more into the designs and this is one of the artist that works for the company.
but jason spence on the other hand i came across hime due to the fact he entered a compition 'La art battle' artbattlela.com/index.html.
I really like the thee two due to there computer manipulation there work is clean and crisp and an inspiration towards the other half of my project. (personal identity)

Presentation Techniques
Presentation techniques is a book formed by Jenny Mulherin
This is probably self explanatory why have chosen to look at this book. I've chosen it specifically to see if there is some inspiration that I could withhold by looking at this book, I could use letter transfers,i could create promotion packs in the form of boxes or tins, flyers, leaflets with a fancy folding technique.
I need to looki into some self promotion, I could present it in a origami fashion.
Presentation is key I have to Concider the use of colour design and layout, it has to follow my galleries personal identity.

Graphic design (paticular moments that interest me)
Here is a few artist that I like i feel that a visually interesting, to me the use of colour or style appeals to me.
With all these artists these are all really concidered layouts.
David Carson - http://www.davidcarsondesign.com/
Sara fanelli - http://www.sarafanelli.com/
Alberto seveso - http://burdu976.com/
David Mckean - http://www.mckean-art.co.uk/
Jackknife - http://jacknifeposters.com/
Books I have looked into,
Graphic design a new history, starts off with some very historical information from gluten erg to Bodoni, stating about a bible publication in 1455. It was a huge two volume book that consisted of 1,282 pages, it had taken two years to be produced, and as few as 200 copies were made. As quoted the typeace used had broad forms and light proportions, but this type had a very heavy French gothic aproch.
Around 1785 the bondi type face was created but along with this a term known as 'Parisienne' this term is given to a arrangement of text that is in different sizes. During the 19th century the typefaces started to expand, due to the medias demand of new design.
William Caslon IV, sans- serif type face 1816
I really do like the Decraritive type faces in 1850
The design profession was a expanding quickly and thee use of type was becoming more predominant in the nineteenth century, a designers (but most designers were artists) there pay check depended on the composition, drawing and colour.
Typography moved witheach and ever art movement, such as art nouveau .
Another book I have looked at is 'graphic design' edited by Steven heller.
This had more historical information about the design industry, and how it's changed throughout eera.

Figurative paintings
The term "figurative art" is often taken to mean art which represents the human figure, or even an animal figure.
Figurative art is itself based upon a tacit understanding of abstracted shapes: the figure sculpture of Greek antiquity was not naturalistic, for its forms were idealized and geometric.
The body is broken down into tone shape lighting.
Augustus john - sketches
Geen John - portraits
Andy warhol, controversial work
Lovis corinth
Georg baselliz
Francoise nelli
I would like to keep to my favourite aspect of art and that's working with the figure, as this is form is clear the most recognizabe, and this is a really interesting thing to manipulate to form alsorts of shapes and shadows. I like working the figure due to the fact I feel that this is one of the most complicated things to work with as when drawing it you have to take so much into account such as Shapes tone lighting no foreshortening of the body. But I feel that the figure needs to be acurate to reprent the attributes correctly, so personal I prefer work that is realistic rather that jestulal or expressive, but then that doesn't mean that I don't like it when they are put together.

Symbols
Look at paticular symbols that resemble things within life. Such as wind, fire and air. What I would like to create is some tattoos maybe to go over go over the figures that i could add some symbolic meanings .
My favourite symbol is the illuminati,
I want to show how societys roles have changed
I want to explore the use of colour.
This will be useful as then this will include some further mean and expiation on my I decide to use what I have, and used what I've used.
Thes Sybil's will be incorporated within my tatto designs athta I have in mind.

Types of polyhedrons I could use
Convex uniform, Convex uniform dual, Star uniform and Star uniform dual.
Regular: Platonic solids, Kepler-Poinsot polyhedra.
Quasiregular: Archimedean solids and Catalan solids.
Semi-regular
Prisms: Dipyramids, Star Prisms and Star Dipyramids
Antiprisms: Trapezohedra, Star Antiprisms and Star Trapezohedra
Dual polyhedron
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The dual of a cube is an octahedron, shown here with vertices at the cube face centers.
Truncation sequence from a cube to its dual octahedron. A polyhedral dual is called a face-rectification or a
In geometry, polyhedra are associated into pairs called duals, where the vertices of one correspond to the faces of the other. The dual of the dual is the original polyhedron. The dual of a polyhedron with equivalent vertices is one with equivalent faces, and of one with equivalent edges is another with equivalent edges. So the regular polyhedra — the Platonic solids and Kepler-Poinsot polyhedra — are arranged into dual pairs, with the exception of the regular tetrahedron which is self-dual.
The choice of such precise shapes are use to resemble accuracy, it shows how everything is sective how we manipulate our surroundings but it doesn't look unusual bu the moment you try to genetically modify someone's face it does not work, every one is an individual, of this is provoked and tried to be manipulated in a fascist sense there are always a select few that will rise against the idea, and with the use of the shapes I'm showing even tho I do manipulate the face and try to disguise the original facial structure you can make out who it is. (a mjigsaw as such).

Colour theory
http://www.colormatters.com/color-and-design/basic-color-theory
A color circle, based on red, yellow and blue, is traditional in the field of art. Sir Isaac Newton developed the first circular diagram of colors in 1666. Since then, scientists and artists have studied and designed numerous variations of this concept. Differences of opinion about the validity of one format over another continue to provoke debate. In reality, any color circle or color wheel which presents a logically arranged sequence of pure hues has merit.
Color Harmony
Harmony can be defined as a pleasing arrangement of parts, whether it be music, poetry, color, or even an ice cream sundae.
In visual experiences, harmony is something that is pleasing to the eye. It engages the viewer and it creates an inner sense of order, a balance in the visual experience. When something is not harmonious, it's either boring or chaotic. At one extreme is a visual experience that is so bland that the viewer is not engaged. The human brain will reject under-stimulating information. At the other extreme is a visual experience that is so overdone, so chaotic that the viewer can't stand to look at it. The human brain rejects what it can not organize, what it can not understand. The visual task requires that we present a logical structure. Color harmony delivers visual interest and a sense of order.
In summary, extreme unity leads to under-stimulation, extreme complexity leads to over-stimulation. Harmony is a dynamic equilibrium.
The colour theory is include within my research due to the the idea I need to personally select colours that comprehend and correlate. Basically they need to connect a feel right together such as complimentarys you use them and youve immediately got an image that will stand out, use colours to close in the spectrum and you will get a flat image that won't really promote its self very well, on the other hand you could pick colours that really don't belong with each other, so with that in mind I will have to experiment.

Advertising
Advertising is a form of communication used to encourage or persuade an audience (viewers, readers or listeners) to continue or take some new action. Most commonly, the desired result is to drive consumer behavior with respect to a commercial offering, although political and ideological advertising is also common. The purpose of advertising may also be to reassure employees or shareholders that a company is viable or successful. Advertising messages are usually paid for by sponsors and viewed via various traditional media; including mass media such as newspaper, magazines, television commercial, radio advertisement, outdoor advertising or direct mail; or new media such as websites and text messages.
History of graphic design
Graphics (from Greek Graphikos γραφικός) are the production of visual statements on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, pottery, computer screen, paper, stone or landscape. It includes everything that relates to creation of signs, charts, logos, graphs, drawings, line art, symbols, geometric designs and so on. Graphic design is the art or profession of combining text, pictures, and ideas in advertisements, publication, or website. At its widest definition, it therefore includes the whole history of art, although painting and other aspects of the subject are more usually treated as art history.[1]
I am researching in to the history to see if the continuity through out the years, for example the colour choice, house style and completion of typography and imagery . These are important factors in design and you want to form some visual puzzle that is pleasing to the eye.

Graphic design
Graphic design is a creative process—most often involving a client and a designer and usually completed in conjunction with producers of form (i.e., printers, signmakers, etc.)—undertaken in order to convey a specific message (or messages) to a targeted audience. The term "graphic design" can also refer to a number of artistic and professional disciplines that focus on visual communication and presentation. The field as a whole is also often referred to as Visual Communication or Communication Design. Various methods are used to create and combine words, symbols, and images to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. A graphic designer may use a combination of typography, visual arts and page layout techniques to produce the final result. Graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated.
Common uses of graphic design include identity (logos and branding), publications (magazines, newspapers, and books), advertisements and product packaging. For example, a product package might include a logo or other artwork, organized text and pure design elements such as shapes and color which unify the piece. Composition is one of the most important features of graphic design, especially when using pre-existing materials or diverse elements.

Pineal gland
The pineal gland (also called the pineal body, epiphysis cerebri, epiphysis, conarium or the "third eye") is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions.[1][2] Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located near the centre of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join.
Colour interactions
http://www.webexhibits.org/colorart/contrast.html
http://daphne.palomar.edu/design/color.html
Two colors, side by side, interact with one another and change our perception accordingly. The effect of this interaction is called simultaneous contrast. Since we rarely see colors in isolation, simultaneous contrast affects our sense of the color that we see. For example, red and blue flowerbeds in a garden are modified where they border each other: the blue appears green and the red, orange. (This is explained below.) The real colors are not altered; only our perception of them changes. This effect has a simple scientific explanation that we will uncover.
Our sensation is the most intense where two extremes are juxtaposed. Van Gogh’s Night Cafe composes colors described as “warm,” which are generally associated with such sensations and emotions as energy, joy, love and festivity. In his letter to his brother Theo, van Gogh considers the work as “…one of the ugliest (pictures) I have done… I have tried to express the terrible passions of humanity by means of red and green.” By using color in this manner, van Gogh exploits the psychological capacities of colors to arouse emotions (first noticed by Alberti; see introduction), here intentionally creating a jarring unpleasant sensation for the viewer. Contrast this with the entry on Picasso and his “Blue Period,” where the paintings arouse emotions more usually associated with “cold” colors, such as sadness and a withdrawn quality.

Endophins
Here I am looking at some scietific suggestions on what happens when excited of happy in paticulaur scenarios, I guess want to exsperiement to see if these endophins could be emitted by just visually looking a minute colours.
Endorphins ("endogenous morphine") are endogenous opioid peptides that function as neurotransmitters.[1] They are produced by the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus in vertebrates during exercise,[2] excitement, pain, consumption of spicy food, love and orgasm,[3][4] and they resemble the opiates in their abilities to produce analgesia and a feeling of well-being.
The term endorphin implies a pharmacological activity (analogous to the activity of the corticosteroid category of biochemicals) as opposed to a specific chemical formulation. It consists of two parts: endo- and -orphin; these are short forms of the words endogenous and morphine, intended to mean "a morphine-like substance originating from within the body."[5]

Op art
Op art, also known as optical art, is a style[1] of visual art that makes use of optical illusions.
"Optical art is a method of painting concerning the interaction between illusion and picture plane, between understanding and seeing."[2] Op art works are abstract, with many of the better known pieces made in only black and white. When the viewer looks at them, the impression is given of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibration, patterns, or alternatively, of swelling or warping.

I have looked at contemparty art movements to see if there is anything paticular styyle that influences me enough to follow through with, personally I like working with a realistic approach, so the initial though is to follow a similar style to Kent Williams, as that is highly relistic but it has a really nice textual appeal to it. I would like to contextualise and construct something that I feel that would work on display ins. Glares context, but this is also constructed with modern conceptual ideologies to date. Such as the medias interpretations or politic or a worldwide issue (news headline).

It's a written decripion on what I felt was worth writing about.

Audio installation...
Using sounds as a aversive subject and changing the climate had been the main focus to this artist she had subtlety changed sections through out the gallery, to change mood and characterisation of each individual as some sort of experiment as such.
Audio was played through out each piece, whispers of different things coming from speakers hang from the ceiling, with different conversations are played and also sounds.
The first piece i came across was a audio installation, standing in a different location In the room feels like a different experience as your selective hearing can only pick up only on small parts of information of each and every conversation played in the 7mins of a audio loop.
After the speech there is sounds of waves, the surround sound enhanced the mood of the flow of water it's very suggestive ,maybe ideology behind is was the though that your subconscious picks up on minute pieces of information in each passage of speech it can simply be remove with the sounds of waves washes our short term memory clean.
As there is a lot of speech interlinked with this piece there is a lot to pick up on and it get some what confusing.
Second installation.
Books
Pseudonyms are names are a common thing to do to be taken more seriously, they are used to be accepted as more seriously. Interesting due to the Hiding of your identity sits usually a configuration of your name that is suggested as some one of a higher class. The books associated in this piece all the authors had changed there names and there was a pretty vast collection.
The Third room.
Dim lighting (to set the atmosphere)
There was a cleverly construed sculpture of some kind, with micro phones the project was of voices and sounds, this was very eery, then onto of then if you got really close to the installation you could distinguish there was very subtle whispers. This piece had very common recognisable sounds, but then these were manipulated and used in a different manor to create this dark atmosphere.
The next piece was this piece was a american flight announcer flicking through messages of the artist perception on the world, they were simple suggestions of speech, her text is very well constructed, they have a great seance of wisdom and it promotes the sense of character you feel like you get to know what the artists feels emotionally.
Located in the 4th room was a very gentle piece of poetry that suggests difficulties in our life, on how we overcome the obstacles. The artists suggested the ease of use buy using a roll of tape due to the fact of its minimal proprieties and it has portable factors, hence the the term on the tape 'there is no boarders'.
Photography piece
This set of photo graphs suggested the elements of:
Personality, showing it with the composition, the characters movement and stylisation.
Purpose
The use of Children's gestures
Covering of her face suggesting a hidden identity
Political difficulties the diversity within difficulties
Hiding the features, the predominated senses.
With an ongoing society the world is an oyster in metaphorically terms ideologies and terms can be manipulated by a devoted speech or a simple quote Your mind can be set to something your subconsciously doing rather than thinking and stopping to make that divisive decision on what you are doing.
This is starting to be link with something else I'm looking into corporate Identity.

second artist included was Haroon mirza.
A installation that is a sound proof room that is made of cleverly constructed sponges cut in the shapes of triangles
There was a piece involving minimalistic constructions of items that resembled Ken-tic visual and sound and each factor was interlinked as one so as one motion of energy is made another is followed.

Corprate identity
In Corporate Communications, a corporate identity is the "persona" of a corporation which is designed to accord with and facilitate the attainment of business objectives. It is usually visibly manifested by way of branding and the use of trademarks.[1]
Corporate identity comes into being when there is a common ownership of an organizational philosophy that is manifest in a distinct corporate culture — the corporate personality. At its most profound, the public feel that they have ownership of the philosophy.[2] Often referred to as organizational identity, corporate identity helps organizations to answer questions like “who are we?” and “where are we going?” Corporate identity also allows consumers to denote their sense of belonging with particular human aggregates or groups.[3]
In general, this amounts to a corporate title, logo (logotype and/or logogram), and supporting devices commonly assembled within a set of guidelines. These guidelines govern how the identity is applied and confirm approved colour palettes, typefaces, page layouts and other such methods of maintaining visual continuity and brand recognition across all physical manifestations of the brand. These guidelines are usually formulated into a package of tools called corporate identity manuals.
Many companies, such as McDonald's and Electronic Arts, have their own identity that runs through all of their products and merchandise. The trademark "M" logo and the yellow and red appears consistently throughout the McDonald's packaging and advertisements. Many companies pay large amounts of money for the research, design and execution involved in creating an identity that is extremely distinguishable and appealing to the company's target audience.

What I have to do is create an Identity that Is appeal To a wide range of people I have to form something that is picked up by the subconciou part of aoudad brain really easyily for exams every mine know the sign for mc donalds due to there simplicity in design and coherency within there use of the golden arches. I need to look into a lot more information within psychology within shapes and forms. Also the use of colour is very important as you want to promote you company with a could that resembles your own style for example I couldnt suggest a vibrant yellow for my gallery due to the fact this would then be promoted as something that is happy and joyfull, it wouldn't be taken as seriously even thos bright colours are more appealing to the eye. I suggest selecting a very few and set colours for my galleries identity. May be a certain could then change the shades and tones of pick 4 particular pastel colours that I closely linked on the the colour wheel but easyily distinguished if place upon each other.
I will shave to experiment with in choice of colour in photoshop and then print out examples in different colours then discuss views upon each of them.

In elementary geometry a polyhedron (plural polyhedra or polyhedrons) is a geometric solid in three dimensions with flat faces and straight edges. The word polyhedron comes from the Classical Greek πολύεδρον, as poly- (stem of πολύς, "many") + -hedron (form of έδρα, "base", "seat", or "face").
A polyhedron is a 3-dimensional example of the more general polytope in any number of dimensions.
Here is a website that will help me construct the shapes that is ant to involve http://www.korthalsaltes.com/

The reason I have chosent to look at polyheadron is because of the structure and I really like the construction on the form especially if the shape is 'regular'. What I was considering was to adjust the proportions on the face with a polygon in mind. I wand tho create a dispaportionate face but I'm not sure how to promote this ideology to look good. I would like to use a of geometry but I'm concidering how.

Social characteristics
''social characteristics' are the characteristics of the type of person you are in society.
for example:
upper class - lots of money, big house, high paying job, well off,can have lots of luxury's,act posh etc
middle class - reasonably fine with finance, can provide for your family, average job etc
lower class - very little money, living in poor housing such as high rise flats, unskilled manual workers, not got a very good life.
This was a theory form to section peoples working states within society on work status, this a bases of what a average citizen of this critira would be like.but this is very anti semitic and subjective. This does remove the feeling of individuallity those so it it is somewhat unfair.
I was thinking that I should create something that promotes the factors that these subjective media views are ridiculous.

Going to these galleries simply what a good chance to reflect on what a gallery space should look and feel like the contruction of each one is very similar due to the white walls and use of space between each peice but genuinely this is down to the artists preference. The work is concideratly placed due to its size or depth of media used. The reasoning be is in you line of path you brain can only pice up so much information in a certain amount of time and the more complicated you present it the more you brain work like to give up as such and want to move on. A clean concidered layout is the key. I did collect some leaflets and other occociated peices that I was relate to the galerries promotion as a source of evidence of first hand materials. With the promotion material even though it probably is a obveous thing to state, it has coherency to the gallery it is promoting and with the galleries personal idendetity, for example the colours and appearance.

in colour theropy, in treatment.
Red was used to stimulate the body and mind and to increase circulation.
Yellow was thought to stimulate the nerves and purify the body.
Orange was used to heal the lungs and to increase energy levels.
Blue was believed to soothe illnesses and treat pain.
Indigo shades were thought to alleviate skin problems.
Studies have also shown that certain colors can have an impact on performance. Exposing students to the color red prior to an exam has been shown to have a negative impact on test performance. More recently, researchers discovered that the color red causes people to react with greater speed and force, something that might prove useful during athletic activities.

Colour clearly have loads of emotional reference, so theidea that I have is maybe I could express the models characters more through the colour. Once I have chosen a paticular style to work into I shall take into concideration it the colours meanings.

Stereotypes
Final Project research - Gender Roles And Stereotypes
Gender Roles And Stereotypes
Gender roles are "socially and culturally defined prescriptions and beliefs about the behavior and emotions of men and women" (Anselmi and Law 1998, p. 195). Many theorists believe that perceived gender roles form the bases for the development of gender identity. Prominent psychological theories of gender role and gender identity development include evolutionary theory (Buss 1995; Shields 1975), object-relations theory (Chodorow 1989), gender schema theory (Bem 1981, 1993) and social role theory (Eagly 1987).
Evolutionary theories of gender development are grounded in genetic bases for differences between men and women. Functionalists (e.g., Shields 1975) propose that men and women have evolved differently to fulfill their different and complementary functions, which are necessary for survival. Similarly, sociobiologists (e.g., Buss 1995) suggest that behavioral differences between men and women stem from different sexual and reproductive strategies that have evolved to ensure that men and women are able to efficiently reproduce and effectively pass on their genes. These evolutionary-based theories share similarities with the essentialist and maximalist perspectives discussed previously.
In contrast, object-relations theorists focus on the effects of socialization on gender development. For example, Nancy Chodorow (1989) emphasizes the role of women as primary caregivers in the development of sex differences.

Gender roles and stereotypes affect men and women in other ways. Specifically, men and women may be judged by how well they conform to traditional stereotypes. In his theory of masculine gender role strain, Joespech Pleck (1976) asserted that boys and men are pressured to fulfill a standard of masculinity. Boys and men, for example, who do not fulfill the standard often suffer from low self-worth (Pleck; Sonnenstein; and Ku1993). Other lifelong consequences befall men who experience traumatic socialization practices such as rites of passage that entail violence. Even men who successfully fulfill the standard of masculinity suffer psychologically or emotionally from rigid constraints on acceptable parenting roles for men (Pleck; Sonnonstein; and Ku 1993). Richard Lazur and Richard Majors (1995) contend that gender role strain is pronounced with men of color. Men of color must balance the dominant standards of masculinity with their cultures' standards of masculinity in an effort to fulfill both satisfactorily. In addition, men of color must overcome prejudice and other obstacles to fulfill the standards of masculinity. The result is increased gender role strain for men of color (Lazur and Majors 1995). Likewise, white women and women of color may be constrained by standards of femininity, such as the pressure to have children.

The thing is that society Is judged from so many angles, but in a very negative and opinioniated manner, as one negative problem arises another occurs due the negativity surrounding, the media is a great example, the reason that I'm looking into this is because I want to look tho my families history and I want to see if there is anything that I could pick up upon and experiment with.
Here i have some examples of some modern day idvidually youth sterio types that people individually judge upon.

Thesse are the most well know to date within younger people as these are projected as insults as such to some. You are classed as as one of these if you carry some of the common traits even if your not intending to be one of them. but then again sterotypes are diverse due to the fact it can be based on anything suach as appearence, general knowledge/ intelligence, family background, attitute/ presentation or accent.

Quantum Disproportion
Review
The foundation course has increasingly developed my skills through out the time I have spent with each project, together with giving me a diverse selection of challenges. For starters at the beginning of the academic year we were given the project ‘inside and out” which helped me push my creativity with mixed media. Parts ones and two have clearly shown me how I can be more expressive with materials and back it up with well-documented and honest responses. Part two was significantly the most important part of the year to me as I was unsure about where my future lay within the art world, having predominantly produced work of Fine Art nature. However I have realized that I work best when faced with a commercially viable task, so therefore chose to specialize within the area of Graphics Design, as a result, developing my skills in this area, whilst still retaining a sense of my existing creative ability.
Project concept
As outlined above I have become increasingly interested in design, although still feel the need to continue my love for Fine Art painting. With this in mind I have decide to create my own contemporary gallery. I will create the logo, identity and general stationary, as well as the promotional material for the current exhibition such as posters. The exhibition will be of my own work, as this will allow me to promote myself as an artist, whilst pushing and developing my design skills. To enable me to complete this project I will need to undertake thorough research into my family’s traits, characteristics, thinks that make them tick and with this develop a portrait, which will in some way bring that together. They will be following a cubist sort of concept but its some optical illusion that is based on polyhedrons, and each flat surfaced polygon will be a selection of the human face. The color choices included in this will be based on characteristic moods and social compatibilities. To develop the design element in this task I will gather leaflets and other relevant material from galleries so I have some reference to refer to when I consider the typography, use of space and palette choices. I do feel that this is a opportunity to build something with great inner meaning, depth to me which will hopefully mean that my outcomes will be very expressive and eye catching. The idea that I decided to put forward is, I am going to create portraits that involve making them disproportionate.
Evaluation
Throughout the project I will keep a sketchbook, which will clearly document my reflection my analysis of my research development, experimentation and realization, I shall also undertake regular group critiques, to receive regular feedback on my project to allow me to make the right choices in developing my skills.
